Following Claire Henson’s award winning success at the British Academy of Audiology last November, the London Road Hearing Centre audiologist was approached by the American Academy of Audiology. The topic of conversation – do real-ear measurements (REMs) make a real difference to hearing aid fitting outcomes?
Ms Henson conducted a study in 2006 where she compared patients who had hearing aids fitted using REMs to those who were fitted without REMs.
