Mr Peter Rea, ENT Surgeon and lead Clinician at the Leicester Balance Centre, hosted the British Society of Neuro-otology Conference in Leicester last Friday, the premier for presenting balance research in the UK, along with its founder Professor Adolfo Bronstein.
A highly respected speaker list from around Europe and the USA presented cutting edge research on the investigations and treatment of balance disorders, along with key note lectures on the intratympanic injection of drugs to treat Meniere's disease.
Mr Rea said: "I was delighted to welcome such a distinguished audience to the meeting with speakers from the USA, Europe and the UK, describing a range of exciting developments in neuro-otological research, as well as many new and practical applications for patients with balance disorders".
